FS#5 - Crackle with the cruise control switch stays ON (*2007-2008)

Description

Some firmware from 2007-2008 have firmware changes that cause issues with the code patch in regard to the toggeable crackle option using the cruise control switch.

This can cause the crackle to remains active, especially with the 2007. Low priority, if this feature is a must-have, it is possible to swap the ECU for a 2005-2006, which is not affected.

Awaiting logs from affected user. The issue is related with a variable that can override the overrun fuel cut request, and make it seems like the cruise control switch is not working

Possible solutions:

  • Make the function affect the final computing of the overrun fuel cut (Require a specific assembly patch for all affected firmware)
  • Identify the variable causing the overrun fuel cut overwrite in order to make the correction on the cal area. (Simpler to implement throughout all affected firmware, but user-dependant solution due to logging involved)
