FS#4 - Passat firmware, fuel suppression and difficulty to log
Description
Passat firmwares differ from the Golf/Jetta/Rabbit, including fuel suppression to match stricter emissions.
This prevents the crackles and launch control from being "aggressive" (Low priority, this issue is only entertained out of respect for existing customers)
The concerning issues regarding Passat firmware is that they can be harder to tune and log. With the raise of interest from Passat owners for more serious builds, the remedy is to adapt a Golf firmware to support Passat as well

Awaiting feedback from the customer testing the Golf firmware on the Passat
Feedback not yet received
No feedback received, although logging on a different affected vehicle has allowed to confirm the source of the fuel suppression
A patch has been written, and is under testing
The function responsible for the fuel suppression has been identified and patched. Final tests are ongoing
The fuel suppression fix is effective, but prevents the cruise control switch from disabling the crackle on demand (Need additional patch & testing)
