There is a limit of maximum 2.2A that can be output to the circuit that drive the MAC valve for boost control.When that limit is reached, the power is interrupted and a fault is set into the ECU. MAC valves are usually rated at 5.4W unit, 0.45A (It was initially miscalculated at 2.22A, see comments)


 The overcurrent limit should be investigated as it can prevent boost control from working
